⚠️ This entry is already over one year old. It may no longer be up to date. Opinions may have changed. When I wrote this post, I was only 20 years old!

Although the linked article is basically an ad for Firefox, there are two things I would like to highlight.

The third point “Turn on strict tracking protection” says that enabling strict tracking protection, or like I do by using uBlock Origin, prevents data from being sent to “dozens or even hundreds of companies” and therefor also the processing of it. That’s such an important point in my opinion! It’s also just another good argument when trying to tell people why they should use an ad blocker…

The second point I want to highlight, is the last one in Mozilla’s list: “Get bored”. Getting bored and doing just nothing, not only saves some energy, but can have a positive effect on your brain too.
