WSL 2 support for Linux GUI apps is coming soon
Last year’s announcement that WSL 2 would soon support Linux GUI apps seems to be getting more real, as the feature is now present in an Insider build. That could possibly please a few developers. In the long run, there will be no need to develop Windows versions of programs anymore, if you can simply use the Linux program on Windows. And for users, of course, the choice of programs that can be used without having to set up a VM will increase.
