I have a question: Is there something similar to Telegram channels in Matrix? What should I do when I want to enable people to be notified about new blog posts using Matrix?

@jaklt@mastodon.social @en Maybe make a read-only room which you'd suggest to people who want to follow you. Then you'd announce your blog posts there.
Aine Read-only room is the way. We use that approach in our service operations and have an announcements room (#news:etke.cc). Unfortunately, matrix doesn't have an option to allow sending messages in threads only (like comments in telegram channels), so we have a separate room for discussions (#discussion:etke.cc)
