My March ‘22 in Review
⚠️ This entry is already over one year old. It may no longer be up to date. Opinions may have changed. Now March is also over, the first lockdown turns two, my bachelor’s degree one. Time to look back a bit on the past weeks.
I didn’t have much time to deal with the current world events, but maybe that was a good thing, after all, everything is just dragging down at the moment and tempts to doomscrolling. Instead, I spent most of this month dealing with my move. The first two weeks I packed countless moving boxes, supported by my girlfriend, on weekends and during the week evenings after work (although I thought I didn’t have that much stuff), prepared the new apartment and planned the move.
The move was quite exhausting, but thanks to my girlfriend and her extremely helpful and enthusiastic family, it went pretty quickly. With eight people, all the furniture and boxes were transported from the old apartment to the new one in just a few hours and even set up. My girlfriend then helped me in the evening to start clearing out the boxes before she had to go back to her university town for her practicum.
Over the next few days, I finished clearing out the boxes, ordered one or two things or picked them up from the old apartment, continued to tidy up the old apartment and got used to my new living space. It was my first move, so I did not know this situation, at first everything was so unfamiliar, but now I feel completely at home here. Finally my own four walls!
Other than that: work, thoughts about work, supported my girlfriend with her housework, explored the new surroundings, changed my registration at the authorities and blogged more again and shared my views and thoughts on some topics.
