My May ‘23 in Review
May is over, June has already started, so here is my short review of the past month.
At the beginning of the month, I was on a business trip for three days. In Munich, I finally got to see my colleagues, with whom I’ve been working for over half a year, live. That was a good thing, because I feel like I got a better connection with them. Still, remote work is the preferred way for me to work, because the days were pretty exhausting and the week after I caught a cold.
Then it was my birthday, but being 24 is no different than being 23.
One of the long weekends I went with my girlfriend to visit my family. That was a bit like a vacation, because we took a few trips and saw a lot.
Speaking of vacations, the plans are becoming more concrete. For the Scotland trip in September we have already booked all the accommodations, and for the Romania trip we have already booked the first accommodation. And also my bed in the 2-person sleeping compartment from Bucharest to Budapest is secured for the return trip. But that’s not it yet and the next weeks will bring some more research and bookings.
The other thing that has kept me busy all month and where I finally got around to it is the AWS certification. Today, June 1, I finally took the exam (at a testing center), but no result yet. But I am confident that the last “learning sprint” was successful. 🤞
If so, then maybe next month I’ll have more time for blogging and private programming again. 😄
