How data protection should happen
Today I got an email that read something like this:
Dear * user,
since you have not used the * portal for two years, your account has been deleted by us in accordance with the data protection declaration.
Best regards, Your * Support Team
If only all services handled data protection this way, then I wouldn’t have to keep trying to delete old unused accounts (which is usually not possible directly via a web interface but requires a message to the support)…
