My first day at my new job is over, and it went quite well despite the lack of sleep. Super nice colleagues and I am already full in the training.

Finally I have an IntelliJ Ultimate development environment again and much less VDI usage. I also have a work phone for the first time, an iPhone SE 2nd generation. It should be sufficient for my use cases (making phone calls or sending messages via Microsoft Teams), but I honestly don’t understand the continuous hype about iPhones at all. 🤔 My work laptop is no MacBook. 😌

Tomorrow I will already work from home. 😄 Because 100% remote work is allowed almost no one is in the office anymore, which is great for me because it saves me 2 hours of commuting per day.
