Two years ago, for the first time in my life, I experienced the basement filling up after a heavy rain. And now, not even two years later, the same thing is happening again. (I and we are fine and there was not too much damage).

My site is back now (Hetzner experienced problems with the CEPH storage - I might switch servers to their new CPX line soon).

The TikTokJsonFeed tool works great, I just have to regularly update things to keep it working. TikTok likes changing their website and API all the time, but fortunately there is a community that keeps the scraper up-to-date.

Getting rid of it - The start of my minimalism project

Lately I got deep into the topic “minimalism”. I read a lot of online articles, started to read a book, watched some YouTube videos and even the Minimalism Documentary. I want to become a minimalist, get rid of most things I own and live a more meaningful life, which isn’t defined by my consumption. But hell, that isn’t easy.
