After I put my new SIM card in my phone today (yes, the one with the unlimited mobidata volume - thanks for all the replies to my recent post!), I noticed that there suddenly appeared a new app that wanted to offer me additional services via SMS, of course for a fee. An app with no benefit for me, even annoying me by the presence of the app icon in the app drawer and the missing possibility to deactivate the app!

A few days ago I changed my home network so that the FRITZ!Box now directly establishes a DSL connection and I can use IPv6 again. Too bad that I only now noticed that this has led to the fact that it used the DNSv6 server of the ISP. Now I adjusted everything so that AdGuard Home is also used for DNSv6. Less advertising and tracking again…

It would be a good thing of more services delete old unused accounts automatically, like Yahoo Mail does. I often come across accounts that I created years ago but haven’t touched for almost the same time. I am only reminded of them when these services change their TOS or privacy policies. Then I go and try to delete these accounts, sometimes without success, because it is impossible to delete the accounts themselves. Then I have to write a support request or send a mail to a contact address, which is not always successful as well.
