Just a small comparison to show that many websites are completely obese: My bachelor thesis in PDF format (which I handed in yesterday) has a size of 1.4 MB. It contains several images and 85 pages of text. With a high information density, this is a much smaller size than most websites have. And it would have been probably also possible to compress or optimize the PDF further.

Generics in Go
As someone who properly learned to program using Java and still works with Java almost every day, I am used to generics. Flexible parameters whose constraints do not yet have to be set during definition. The fact that there are no generics in Go took some getting used to.
Although Micropublish is an awesome Micropub editor, I just integrated a custom really basic editor into GoBlog to create, update and delete posts. I will also add image upload soon and then I don’t depend on any external software (except a web browser) for my blogging workflow any more.
Google will delete your data when inactive
Google is introducing new policies to cause data in unused products to be deleted after extended periods of inactivity. For example, anyone who has uploaded photos to Google Photos but does not use Google Photos for two years will have their photos automatically deleted.
Things I noticed and a thank you!
Since migrating my blog to the new CMS, I carefully watch the BunnyCDN logs to see if there are some errors or 404s somewhere. It’s looking good so far. Two days ago, I found an issue with the routing of paths that included an encoded character (such as ü or ä), but I found an easy workaround for this. Another thing I noticed by looking at the logs is the number of requests to the feeds on this website.

Minimal Office Suite
Thanks to @hacdias, I found this nice project: Awfice - the world smallest office suite.
98.css
The first Windows I used was Windows 2000 on the computer my parents gave me sometime in primary school. But with 98.css it is now even possible to make websites in the style of Windows 98. Wouldn’t that be an idea for the next homepage redesign?
What was TON and why it is over
Telegram wanted to launch a cryptocurrency, but now they stopped that experiment because a US court stopped them and the US has too much power they rather didn’t want to feel.
